Macy's launches first-ever NFT series in celebration of the 95th Annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade®. A special auction of 10 Epic designs to benefit Make-A-Wish® begins Nov. 19 and is available via macys.com/NFT.

What is an an NFT?

An NFT is a “non-fungible token” which is just a complicated way of saying it’s a unique digital item that people can buy, own and trade. Think of it as a digital collectible.

How much of Macy's NFTS will go to make-a-wish?

While the NFTs will be free to mint, 10% of their resale profits will be donated to the Make-A-Wish Foundation. The NFTs will feature some of the parade’s iconic, giant balloons dating to the 1920s. Macy’s is also individually auctioning off 10 “Ultra Rare” NFTs from Nov. 19 to Nov. 30, with all earnings also going to Make-A-Wish.
